The Osborn Track Cone Mobile Units are a totally South African design and manufactured in Osborn’s factory at Elandsfontein. The Osborn Track Cone mobile track mounted unit is a heavy-duty secondary crushing plant well suited for run-of-mine or quarry in-pit applications.

It has been designed to cope with rugged materials handling conditions through the incorporation of the Osborn Telsmith Gyrasphere Cone Crusher.  The material input to the Cone Crusher is via a feed belt conveyor and large feed hopper which allows the raw material to be loaded by an excavator, wheel loader or a primary track mounted crusher.  The feed conveyor has a hydraulic system which lifts it away from the Gyrasphere for crusher maintenance.

The chassis has been designed using CAD and FEA techniques and is constructed from rigid tubular sections, which results in a stiff supporting structure for all the components.  The plant is both easily and safely operated via a standard supply remote control, and has been designed for ease of operation and maintenance.
