Guinea gold mine installs Osborn vibrating grizzly feeder

An export order to Guinea has been secured by mining and quarrying equipment specialist Osborn.

This order for a vibrating grizzly feeder that will be employed at a Russian-owned gold mine in Guinea, west Africa, reflects the global reputation of the high-quality machines manufactured in South Africa by Osborn, comments area manager Joe Sequeira.

He reports that Osborn has supplied an Osborn GBEX 2 000mm x 4 400mm vibrating grizzly feeder to NordGold’s Lefa gold mine, which is situated some 700km north east of Conakry, the capital of the Republic of Guinea.

Renowned Bisie Tin project opts for Osborn apron feeder

One of the world’s most significant tin mines will employ a heavy duty, high quality apron feeder manufactured in South Africa by leading mining equipment specialist Osborn.

The company’s export order to the new Bisie Tin Mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) reflects the growing global demand for Osborn’s tough, reliable apron feeders, asserts area manager Joe Sequeira. It is Osborn’s first order to new client Alphamin Resources, supplied to the Bisie tin project through the venture’s EPCM (engineering, procurement and construction management) contractor DRA, he adds.

Osborn expands its footprint in Northern Cape’s manganese mining industry

Leading mining and quarrying equipment manufacturer Osborn has secured an order to supply a range of its high-quality machines to a new manganese mine in the Northern Cape.
 
Product sales manager Francois Scott says that this order and the region are significant for Osborn.

“The highest concentration of Osborn equipment anywhere in South Africa can be found in the Northern Cape, where our high-performance machines dominate the region’s manganese, iron ore and diamond mines.
